Tim & Michelle Bradford

Ministry Focus

Tim and Michelle will be ministering to the military community at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska. The joy of their job is offering a home away from home for military members … a place where people are welcomed and loved as they live life together.

Their ministry will focus on sharing the love of Christ through friendship, discipleship, mentoring, counseling, and festivities, as they facilitate weekly fellowship around food and Bible studies. Lord willing, this ministry will be a catalyst for life-long gospel changes in the lives of military men and women who come into their home.

Their story

FAITH. Tim and Michelle were saved at young ages and grew up in Christian homes. After high school, they both served in the USAF. Their lives were profoundly affected by a hospitality ministry while stationed in England between 2003-2008. The Lord’s loving-kindness and sovereignty have been evidenced as God has worked mightily in both Tim and Michelle, bringing them full circle into similar ministry. The never-ending process of sanctification through military deployments, marriage, parenting, serving in church ministry, and overseas military ministry has refined them in a way that nothing else ever could.

LIFE. After 5 years of Active Duty, Michelle left the military to become a stay-at-home Mother. Over the following 12 years, she would raise four kids, take care of the home, perform home remodels, and complete a BSN with Texas Tech University.

During that time, Tim continued his active duty service with the Air Force for 14 years before hearing the call to ministry. In 2017, he separated from the Air Force and went on to Seminary at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned an MA in Biblical Counseling. In 2021, they moved to Germany to run a Hospitality Ministry for the soldiers stationed in Grafenwöhr and Vilseck, Germany for over four years.

In early 2025, Tim and Michelle felt called to Shiloh Military Ministries to open a ministry home in Anchorage, Alaska.

The entire Bradford family loves ministering to the OCONUS military community due to the unique opportunities that are available when people are so far away from their family members in the US.

FAMILY. Tim and Michelle were married in 2006 and have four children: Aaralyn (2007), Mara (2011), Andy (2013), and Marian (2014). Each child has brought their unique personality to their crazy family circus while simultaneously pointing them to God’s daily mercies and grace. There is never a dull moment in the Bradford family!
